Hello Everyone! I just joined the forums, due to my new purchase of a 2002 Lancer OZ. I've never had a lancer, let alone a mitsu before, so everything is brand new to me (i've been a Honda guy for a while...). I have a issue with my new baby. Under heavy loads, or trying to get up to highway speeds, my motor starts to "misfire". At least thats what it feels like. It's a bad shudder/hesitation feeling. It seems like an ignition problem, not a tranny thing, and I dont know anything about our plug setup. It looks like a coil pack type of system, not a distributor cap kinda deal like im used to. My question is how do I fix this, or is this even the case? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

Try changing the plugs and see if that helps.
