Yo guys, I have search over and over, read over and over on this forum about HID harness. Now I bought 9006 HID Harness with relay+fuse from ebay. Now, I am not sure about the remote turn on control. It suppose to work with just the power source I have with HID. When it switch to position 3 on light control, it suppose to have 12V. But mine is just not turning on at all after installing harness.

I don't know the difference between the sidemarker and the fully turned on lowbeam source. They all both suppose to be 12V, should be enough to trigger "remote turn on".

I have each power wires attached to each Ballast. Connected to battery. Remote turn on does not work with OEM lowbeam source at fully turned on position.

I know some of you guys used sidemaker power on harness, but I dont see the difference... can someone explain! please. thanks!

 

ok, not its working, but still doesn't eliminate the the flickering problem caused by DRL. Grr. The product!! THEY LIED! eliminate flickering due to low voltage my ***!

Well the Relay will help your HIDs ignite and keep voltage stable.

But I am not sure about these fuses. XenonDepot and I am sure other HID companies have something called CANBUS FIX which is what eliminates the antiflickering. I think in some ways it acts as a capacitor. So even in situations of under supplied voltage, it maintains a steady stream.

That said, your situation is still salvagable, you just need to go out and find a good anti flicker CANBUS fix. It should be also a plug and play solution. and not involve cutting or splicing of wires.

I won't have the $60 to spare. But it sounds really tempating.

But I just basicly tapped into Sidemarker for now. It works.

I might just use the unused OEM 9006 harness convert to FOG, so it would be Daytime running foglights.

 

i put one of these on my ralliart when i upgraded to hid lighting and couldnt be happier, i highly recommend it to anybody looking for a great fix to this annoying and potentially dangerous problem. and the best part, the other harnesses out there only cause the lights to stay on permanently, sort of eliminating the problem but not really. jrox harness completely eliminates the drl while providing a stable, direct power source to the ballasts when desired. that way, you can turn your lights completely off or just have the parking lamps on for when waiting in driveways, etc. so you dont blind everybody in the house or whatever. definitely worth saving up the 60 bucks, plus it shipped to me in 3 days, can't beat that.
