I have an 03 lancer oz and couple weeks ago my ac light stopped lighting when the ac was on. I checked the fuses and they all seemed ok. Couple of times the light would come on only right after the car was started and then would go out. Anyone else had this problem???

Unfortunately the rear defrost, A/C and recirculate buttons are lit by LEDs soldered on the board of the HVAC control.

 

If your a/c is working fine I wouldnt really worry bout it, for some reason that light has always annoyed me anyways lol

 

Has anyone been able to replace that LED light? If so, how? It is nice to know when AC is working. Thanks.
