A/C Doesn't Work

So, new Evo. AC doesn't work. Doesn't really bug me but I would like to get it fixed:

Symptoms: Press the AC button, light comes on, but air does not get any colder.

What should I check?

Also, how much does an AC service typically cost? A few hundred, or am I looking at four figures?

r134 doesnt mysteriously dissapear. Theres a leak somewhere, most leaks are really small and ppl just keep refilling their a/c systems. Make sure the a/c compressor turns on!

I would take it in for service, they can generally tell you what the issue is, may be a leak, bad seal or compressor.
