is anybody having the problem of paint chipping at the side moldings? on both sides of the car, the paint is chipping and it is bugging the **** out of me, if anyone else has this problem, id like to know

 

Same thing ... I am pissed ... I am going back to me dealer and telling to repaint my **** or else.. I also saw another Oz with the same chips on both sides .. Sounds like some bull**** to me.

can suck it when come to quality paint jobs on the oz kit

 

if your talking about the spots near the door at the bottom on the side of the car, yeah my paint is chipped over there too.

 

ya ok, if your gonna go to the dealership and complain, try to get some more people to post in this thread about how they have this problem so you can print out this page, take it to the dealer and complain about it not being your fault, and that everyone is having this problem, they will probably repaint it if they feel it is on most OZ's......thats what im doing.

 

i worked at mitsubishi when i bought my car and i was there when the guy took it off the truck and he chipped the paint off the door sill before i even got in the car. i was pissed and it was fixed the next day at the body shop. all mitsu's have ****ty paint they all have paint problems
mitsu does have a 7 year 70,000 mile paint warranty keep that in mind

this is rediculus since our cars are six months old at best.emagine five years from now.

the only thing that chipped is the side skirt on my car...is that what everyone is talking about

 

My OZ hasnt started chipping yet but ive only had it for like 1 month. hope it doesnt start anytime soon cuz ill be quite displeased.

 

i dont know if this would stop it from happening but i usually throw a good coat of wax on my lancer like every 2 weeks and i wash it like 2 or 3 times a week.........

 

i have them there tiny they **** me off

 

i had mine for 7 months...no chips...except for some stupid ****ers with keys...

 

I had the same problem with my Yellow Lancer OZ. I went to the dealer, and they have painted it twice so far. They are about to paint it again. Maybe they can get the paint to match this time or they are going to paint the whole thing. I am really pissed about their ignorance in paint matching.
