hi, so i took my care to service to the dealer, and they cleaned the injectors as part of the service, the thing is, after that i notice my car would suddenly accelerate, examples, when a stop in neutral the revs just stay around 2k, or when i press the clutch to change gears the revs stay up instead of going down for the next gear, also it has happened that when a let go of the gas for a corner or a speed bump instead of the car slowing down it just keeps going as if i was steal pressing the gas, it wearies me, it only happens some times, not all the time, but im wearied about the car, i called the dealer, they told me that it was nothing serious and that i should take the car in, i did, but the car is steal the same way, now they are asking me to take it back in, which i will, the thing is i live 4 hours drive from the nearest dealer and i cant take it in just now, and its been 3 moths that i have been driving my car with this problem.
does anyone know what is the situations going on in my engine? could it be harmful for my engine? any help, info or advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!


p.s. it has nothing to do with the warming period when you start the engine, it happens when the engine is fully warm and some times after hours of driving, yet its exactly the same, as if my car was steal cold

 

it sounds like there is something wrong with the ecu or it could be the throttle body. how many miles are on the car?

 

its got less then 40k miles, still under warranty till june, the problem is this guys at the dealer dont give me any feedback so i dont really know what to do, and the malfunction started the same day i picked it up from the service so its something they did thats causing this no doubt, another thing i noticed is that some times (which never happened before) when im picking up speed its not as smooth, same as when i let go off the gas the deceleration is not as smooth, feels kinda bumpy or jerky, this only happens every other time and thus some times accelerates normally.

not a problem, just bring it back to the dealer and have them fix it. doesnt sound like anything you could fix yourself

 

yea, thats the plan, just wanted to see if anybody knew more about this or has anybody had a similar problem, maybe theirs something their not telling me (they dont tell me much)
