When ever I start the A/C, the engine creates heavy sound, and the performance become low.. that makes avoid starting it.. I satrted feeling this after loading mods on the car...
any feed back please..?

 

Running the ac uses a ton of power. Since the Lancer isn't very powerful, the hp loss is very noticeable.

 

So what to be done... any suggestions..??
And what about the heavy sound which starts after switshing the A/C ON?

 

Wait..you have an evo...how could that possibly be slow?

The sound, the blower for the vents?, the compresor under the hood? I dunno.

I changed my pro file.. I'm having a 2K lancer GLXI with Evo kit... I'm not sure if your having this model in your country.. we a few of them here in KUWAIT..
so, I think this might be clearer for you...

 

You can live with it, get a turbo (if it's not already) , or get a faster car like an evo

same problem with the US lancers... that is the compressor making the sound, which, yeah, it's definitely annoying, which makes me roll with the windows down and the fan off. I lost for that specific reason, because I didn't have it off, and forgot. I was like, what the hell? It creates MONDO lag on this car in particular. It sucks living in Texas during the summer because now my car is gonna be EVEN slower.

 

At least you don't have a Subaru, when the ac is on the throttle is open so far the car automatically cuts the ac. Yeah now that blows.
