Hi guys i just bought a Lancer DE 2010 at 36000km
Now im at 43K and everytime i turn my car off my digital display turns on and keeps telling me i need to service my brakes, batter, seat belt, coolant, oil, ABS, transmission oil. I know my oil change is due in another 3000 km and the deal did reset the computer the last time i got it changed. I also recently installed an amp in the car could that be interfering with the problem or would my dealer say that since i got aftermarket products installed my warranty is void. ?? any help any one else encountered the same problem ?

 

Thats odd. My car is 52 000 km and ive never had that. Could be your amp and yes it will void ur warranty... sometimes incorrectly installed sound systems have messed with electronics which this could be as well.

 

your service reminders are set up to display everything you need serviced. You can turn them off, there is a thread for it on here. Installing an amp will only void warranty on your audio system unless they can prove that it fried another module/ecu.

 

I just booked a appointment with my dealership let's c what they say but I also noticed that level on my transmission fluid is low maybe that's what's triggering these warnings. will keep you guys posted on what the problem is.
