Question tranny oil change

Today i had changed the tranny oil even insisted by the mitsu dealer that i should change it when i reach 40k km, but to my shock the tranny oil that has only 20k Km is already look kind of black compare to the new greenish clear cvtf-1j oil..

had anybody ever experience the same? is there something wrong with my tranny?

I checked my CVT fluid for ya.. mine still looks fine.. nice and clear. I have 13.5k miles on it right now, and I beat on it pretty hard sometimes. Exactly how bad does yours look? And what did the dealer say?

Smile cvt tranny oil

checking using the tranny stick it did seems clean and clear, but worse when it came out. i even thought it was the engine oil at first. you certainly know how dirty engine oil looks like right? its the same..they told me they must reset the tranny..not sure what or how..i am waiting for they call as the reset equipment is not working at that time..

FWIW, Look at the pics here. This may make you feel a bit better about the color of your fluid

My dealer offered me $120.
I've it done myself.

My dealer told me the ATF service is recommended at 60K.
And, yes. The ATF is "burned" yellow. Not as dark as the ref picture...

regular atf and cvt oil are totally different... and actually if you read the manual, it says for a cvt, you need to change it at 30k

I had mine changed out at 37000 miles...my dealer recommended every 30,000. my fluid was so burnt and ugly they had to drain it drain it out twice to get all the gunk out...or so they say

Did any of you ever tried the drag test as seen on youtube? that is by pulling on sport mode for gear 1 and then put it back to D mode? i tried it several time, pull on gear 1 to 5k and then switch to D mode, instead of staying on 5k my rpm drops to like 3.5 to 4 rpm...i have the takeda intake, rrm pulley, hks exhaust..but still it drops..yyy?
