i hear a rubbery sqeaking noise from the rear whenever I hit a good bump or go over a speedbump. But thats a good suggestion that it might be the rear sway bar. First thing tomorrow I'm saturating that thing with white lithium grease.

I hear a squeaking/rattling that sounds like it is coming from either the b-pillar or drivers door panel. Any suggestions?

HELP!!! i was driving today and every time i stopped at a traffic light or stop sign (like every time i stop my car...) there was a "tak" noise coming from the bottom back right of my car (maybe the right rear wheel). It was not just a noise, it shook the car a little too. At first i thought some rocks got stuck in the break or shocks or something, but i couldnt see any (didnt take out the wheel...just tried to look in with a flash light... cuz im a dang newb on cars and i know nothing indeed) i still dont know whats going on.... i just got this car 2 weeks ago, if this is a big problem i'll bring it back to the dealer.....

if the shaking happens while you are stopping but not after you're stopped, it's probably warped rotors or brakes. If after you stop, I dunno.

its after...way after... like 10 seconds after i completely stopped and still waiting at the lights.... and this morning i lifted the car up with my super strong arms ( pushing the jack haha) and i found a hole on one of the metal hose in the bottom, probably connects to the exhaust. Im gonna call the dealer tomorrow since i just got the car 3 weeks ago....

i just got my rotors and pads replaced about just lil over a month ago i believe. Now it's getting colder my brakes are squeeling especially on a cold start. I think this is just weather related, or could I be wrong/

Also, I put my steelies back on for the winter myself. BUT now, every time I take a turn (mostly on left turns) I can hear some sort of grinding coming from my left wheel well. I may think it's the brake pads grinding on the rotor .

i hear squeaking sound from my rear right when gong on bumps, it looks like lotz of ppl have the same problem, imma take my car bak to dearship and have them lube it up...oh also another thing, for ppl with sounds from the breaks...i want to say its normal but its not normal at all, it really depends on the breaks u use, if u use the kelvar brake pads from rrm, they will squeak most of the time, and i would really suggest u ask the dealership to look and trim ur rotors and check ur breaks asap, because just as u pass 12000miles...they dont cover the brakes...just the rotors...so every1...race to the dealership

i have a really bad squeaking problem on the bottom right passenger side...it sounds like 2 squeaks going on at the same time. my brakes are at 75% and i just put in a brand new pair of slotted rotors. the squeaks stop everytime i press down on the brakes...any advice? i tried brake cleaner but that didn't do anything...

don't believe i forgot about this...i got into an accident awhile back the guy told me my strut was bent...and because of that my wheels cannot be aligned. could this be the reason why the bottom passenger side squeaks? should i just replace the passenger strut?

chrls, seems like that sound is coming from your front strut. The thrust washer might be bad, and if your strut is bent, that might make a squeak. If it's the first possibility, easy replacement. If it's the second, the squeak is probably there to stay. If it's not either of those, well, then I was wrong... again

i have a sound comming from my front brakes. when ever i step on them, but not hard, i get a ticking noise. My calipers are painted. It is not my creepers on my pads. Its a sound like i havea piece of somethign scrapping on something......I'm not getting any weird grooves or grinds physically showing up on my rotors. I'm thinking my pads may just be not positioned correctly. I've gotta do a brake job soon anyways.....so we shall see....anyone else have this problem?

I think I have that same problem, only mine only does it on occasion (ticking and slight grinding noise sometimes while braking - I swear it sounds like plastic grinding). My clips got messed up from a defective set of brake pads a while back, so I figured it's just the play in the clips. I'll be doing brakes again this Summer and getting new clips with it, so that might fix the problem. But just like you, I don't get any uneven wear, scoring, marks, etc. just an annoying noise from time to time.

yea...i noticed when i put this gunkish brake quite stuff on (not the spray) it quited down alot, but came back later. I'm going to repaint my calipers this summer and prolly do the brakes at the same time. Good to know im not the only one.....

anybody on here ever get any of their squeak problems fixed? Just curious because I'd like to get mine fixed but I'm apprehensive of them possibly voiding my warranty. I dont have any suspension mods but we've all heard the horror stories of something very simple being changed and the warranty gets voided.

If anyone has gotten warranty work done and you have mods, did they try and screw you over or did they just do the work and not hassle you
