Question

Hello to all, i have an 02 lancer es with a manual tranny. i have this strange squeak sound that happens only when i accelerate, decelerate, shift, basically anytime there's a difference in acceleration. It is not a constant sound. For example I accelerate and the car jerks back and forth for about a second and a half and only squeaks during that time. It doesn't do it if the car is at a constant speed. I also got a new header for it and cause the car to do some harsh vibration but is now not doing it as much. Could that have broken something?

SQUEAK when ACCELERATING 1.2k-2k rpm

Hi guys,

So, between the time I press the accel and the power getting to the wheels, there is a squeak/squeal.

I found a vid that shows what's happening.

Wtf is it?
