I have had my Injen cai for about 6 months..I decided to take a closer look after reading these posts and saw that the front mounting bracket's weld is starting to separate from the piping. It still is connected and there is minimal play but I am sure it will break away soon enough. It looks like a clean break with no damage to piping but I would like to fix. I have a friend who is a welder and I will see if if he can spot weld it again. Anyone have luck with Injen? I bought mine through Adventon.com and have a message into them to see if they handle warranty issues.

 

I just talked to the warranty dept at Injen Phone is (909) 839-0706. I told them my problem. He gave me a Return Authorization number and said to send back the lower part of piping with broken weld with a copy of receipt and they would replace with a NEWLY designed piece that mounts to a different spot and includes a rubber bushing! He said just use as short ram until I receive new piping. Will take 2 to 4 weeks max. I was very impressed with attitude. The address to send back is 285 Pioneer Place, Pamona, Ca 91768. You need to call to get a RA number first! Hope this helps everyone...OZman

 

way cool now i have the info if my CAI ever breaks havent had any problems yet.
P.S. you can get a c.a.r.b stiker from injen by e-mailing them your address and copy of recipt. makes it smog legal

 

Happened to me when I converted the CAI to short ram.
All I have to say is -Duct tape baybee!-

When I go back to the CAI, do you think I will have problems with the broken weld point?
