Painting the grille.
Painting the grille.
Ok i was gonna spray paint my grille later today.... I was wandering if any1 had any pointers... or type of paint i should use... or could tell me how to make it look like a pro job. thanx for any1 that can help.
are you painting the stock grill? or the inserts?? i suggest getting some fine grain sand paper and sanding it a little bit to get the paint to stick. Also use very light coats, so it doesnt get drippy or globby. talk your time, and make sure you do it in a garage or somewhere where it is not windy and free of flying debris, you dont want to get something stuck in the paint to mess it all up... good luck.
EDIT: you could also use primer before you paint, but if its a temp mod or something you plan on redoing in the future than i wouldn't worry to much about the primer... Rock chips and whatnot are unavoidable unless you get some 3m clear bra stuff to put on.
