HArd to take a video of a cam but See the "New Accomplishment" titled thread of dude running 13s N/A with STAGE 2 cam and a bunch of our other performance parts. I think that is better than a vid.

First of all no need to get smart on here. I would like to see a vid of the car while running and driving around the streets. I dont want to see the cam itself. I just would like to see it with my own two eyes before I purchase something like this.
now we need a video to show how increased lift and duration affect... what? the sound of the motor?
you don't need a video, you need a better grasp of the inner workings of an engine. a video? I will take a video later if you want, of my "stage 1" cam in my car. It's not going to show you much of anything, regardless of how hard I push the car though
some people are just silly
there ya go Rob, someone in this thread had to be a smart ***

Ok...DAN! Please get on a dyno and take and vid and show us those numbers with your stage one cam. Then find me someone else with similar mods with a Stage 2 cam and do the same so I can compare number and watch it on video.
I think that will make me happy enough to purchase both... LMFAO Thanks guys

I have dynos on here with it installed already. I have videos on here as well, some with and some without the cam installed. the power gain depends 100% on your supporting mods with a camshaft. If you just do the cam and nothing else you could probably expect as little as 5HP
all above 3500RPM too.
Like I said before, the cam isn't so much a main part as it is an intricate part of your whole system. that means the cam itself isn't really all that important(and I know I'll get in trouble with some for saying that
); the whole reason our cars are so strong is our Mivec system, and it's only advantage is the large Mivec lobes. It's like dropping in a different cam every time you cross 3500RPM, so making small changes to the Mivec lobes will only make small changes in overall power. hell, the stock duration is somewhere around ~300* IIRC(could be after stage one and stock is around ~280 though, it's been a long time since I spent any time on the car, especially on the cam.
The main reason, IMO, that RRM can get away with selling it with no specs is that the minor changes they are making to the Mivec lobes don't require any kind of documentation. The gains are not going to be in your entire powerband, and thus only limited tuning is required. you guys, as I have said countless times, need to understand what the cam shaft does a little more before looking for this kind of information. you should also look into the mivec system so you can understand some of the potential limitations to the camshaft. reading up on tuning is going to be beneficial, because the more you change the more you'll need to tune the car, and it's not an easy car to tune.

oh and for the record... even if people have not posted the results i would still buy those cams right now if i had the money, i have bought most of my car parts from RRM and have never been disapointed, even if i was not sure about the gains... you just gotta trust these guys
another thing...after buying the piggy and cams will a tune up or timing job need to be done? thats like 900$ here cuz noone does it in town
