Ok folks, my car was the "lab rat" for the auto ECU, the rev limiter is the same, about 6200-6300 rpms. They didn't raise it cause they (RRM) don't know for sure if the tranny will hang with it. One thing for sure... this ECU is the icing on the cake! I wasn't sure what to expect, but I know it did more than I thought. One thing I can say is the top end on the freeway doesn't see much if any gain at all, feels the same (stock ECU) above 5k rpms in 3rd. Good ole tranny to thank for that, never had much top end to begin with. I'll tell you guys though that 1st-2nd from 3k-6k rpms and 3rd up to 5k rpms is VERY NICE! I have RRM SRI, test pipe and a Dynomax 2.25" axle back on my car. I'm also 6'1" and weigh 290lbs (fatass), so I'm sure you smaller people will see better results.

Edit: Forgot to put down that I also have RRM header... and wanted to add that this ECU upgrade produced more performance gain than any of the other mods I have. I definitly recommend this upgrade! I'm still messing around with it on the freeway to get a feel of what it'll do... keep you guys posted!

Guru does not have ECU just Intake. It will work fine with an aftermarket cam. As for turbo ECU (auto) Sorry but after digging into it it just does not make sense. All that waiting for...... "doing the right thing!" Simple as that! J has the only one. ASk him about it.

I'd like to think J did enough lab ratting for this... The ecu will work great even if your completely stock as that is what it was based off of. The fact that we put it in a car with more only enhanced the performance. $$ for $$ this will be the best mod for auto guys besides going turbo. No matter what your setup you will not see gains this great with any other product! The header is probably the only one that comes close! I'd say go ecu then build around that. My .02

Just an easy unplug and plug in the new one. I think there are 3 or 4 harnesses to plug/unplug. ECU is right behind your glove box......REALLY EASY!!! If you take this to a shop to do they may laugh at you.

No Custom, you will have to switch it back to the regular ECU if upgrading to Turbo. The car would run too lean, thus damaging engine.
