I was working my closing shift at Subway last night and got an influx or applications for shift managers. Funny thing was they all put "fast cars" as a hobby and they all wanted to make 150K per year

Did you custom one off the engine pieces? Have parts made custom just for you?

I know it's hard to believe, however just about everything under the hood is a custom one off. when you have to design and engineering everything from scratch and manufacture it the the absolute highest standard, it adds up real quick.

Yes and yes. I've got an extensive list of mods under the hood, all one off. I'd like to see the detail sometime of the $100k Evo engine build. Seems a bit steep. You have to excuse the fact the I'm always skeptical when people actually brag about the money that they're spending on an internet forum. I think it was in American Pie 2 when they discussed the factor of 3. I'm also dying to see a dyno chart that shows 800 quick spoolin' AWHP. When will one be available? Is 800awhp just an estimate right now?

When did Evo come out with a 1000whp upgrade for the 911tt? I had an Evo modified 2002 911tt that only made about 550whp. It was the best that they had at the time.

I can attest to the adding up quick rule and not the rule of three when it comes to making real power in these evo's! I don't think BIG3_ETR is bragging, merely stating the cost. My car was built by Switzer and cost alot more than I had planned for , also a bunch of one of parts. So in talking with Tym, he states that the car making 800 quick spooling awhp is a fact, now it is just a matter of time. The car will be dynoing at the end of the month and I cannot wait. As far a the Evo 996 packages, they now have a 550, 650, 750, 1000, and BIG3_ETR's will be the first prototype(sorta)GT-1300 package. Hope this helps

ok well all my stuff was custom too, i meen i dont have a 1st gen head or nothin on it, but manifold, turbo, piping, dp, all that was from scratch. and everything he mounts (matt from slick motorsports in cleveland) he makes a welded bracket, everything, you can basicly take my car apart in very little time, he has it all together like a lego set, it just fits together nicely and i still have 30k max in mine!

I stand corrected if anyone is psycho enough to spend that kind of cash on a EVO then maybe they could build a streetable 800AWHP car. I would have to ask WHY? Except to say look what I have to all of the EVO fanatics or you would have to have so much money that 100K is nothing if that is the case then good luck and have fun.

I believe I would spend much more time in the 996 then the EVO though.

You are stating little stuff, I am talking having a custom one off block cryo treated and custom shaped, crafted and manufactured etc.....custom rods for a custom sized motor and cryo treated forged everything, trans dis. and reassem with reinforcemnts, I am just stating that if you have to have a facotry in Korea or Japan one off a part then the dollar does not go as far! Korea is not cheap, just high quality! We are not talking stock 4G63 stuff available here in the states. Enough talk, lets just see it...and I do not want to know what BIG3_ETR has in his 996 .

an "extensive list of mods" versus custom one off pieces are two completely different things. we will soon see!

as far as 996tt's are concerned, evolution motorsports is prototyping their 1000 awhp car on my 996tt right now. it is built and in the process of tuning. look for it in excellence magazine as well as several other porsche publications. you will know it's mine by the license plate "ENZO ETR"

The "extensive list of mods" are all one off custom components. You're right we will soon see!

Korea is the first country that comes to mind when I think of high performance and high quality! Just kidding.
