Al's car is a trailor car that poses as a street car for bragging rights. I've seen it on the trailor before. But those numbers are impressive no doubt, but ina street race to 200mph BIG3ETR would win!!
(In his evo or his 911)

I think your living a pipe dream personally. If AMS, Buschur, Turbotrix etc can't build a real streetable 800awhp EVO what makes you think Switzer can? Switzer's old car with the help of Buschur put out 800awhp too and guess what...not even a little bit streetable!! Not taking anything away he is awesome and I would go to him in a heartbeat, but this isn't rocket science.
How about blowing the tires off at the 800' foot mark when the turbo finally spooled up!! If memory serves me right the car never did make a pass in the 9's. Granted this was a boost alone car which really hurts the street car moniker. It's much easier to use a GT35R sized turbo and spray a 75-100 shot to aid spool etc.
Hess trapped over 145mph spraying a 100 shot on a full case T4 another person I would bring my car to in a heartbeat.
As far as the EVO spanking high hp vettes, vipers, and supra, etc. What's your definition of high hp. If you don't have some rule saying you MUST USE STREET TIRES TO RACE MY EVO in affect there will be many vipers, vettes, supras that will beat a low 10 second EVO from a stop and especially a roll.
Go ask Shep, Glazer, etc how many transmissions, forks, diffs, VC etc they went through trying to launch a 800rwhp DSM and there is no bullet proof fix any launch at anytime especially on street tires and your done. Most high hp DSM's run very low tire pressure or slicks to soften the blow of the launch on the drivetrain.
I'm done venting saying streetable and 800awhp just don't go together if your running boost alone. EVO's are awesome, but in the end you can go much much farther in a Vette, viper, mustang, supra platform.
Good luck and I for one would be very interested in seeing a dyno of your 800awhp EVO.

I must agree, 800AWHP and streetable, is very hard for me to believe too, that is why I really do want to see the dyno. So I will agree on this.
Now as far as the going farther in a Vette, Viper, Mustang, or Supra, I'm gonna kind have to disagree and agree. You seem to be very narrow minded in your view of the EVO, the car has been around a lot longer than the 3 years it has been in been in the states, and many tuners have taken it extremely far. I mean the fact that a 2 liter 4-Cylinder is even capable of 700AWHP+ and remain street driven is absolutely amazing, and an accomplishment in itself.
In three years the EVO VIII has amassed approx. 60 to 70 EVOs that run 11.99 and faster in the USA, while I know this pails in comparison to the Mustangs (which have been around for who knows how long) and etc., let's not forget that many people don't even consider the EVO a drag car. My point is, you say you can't go as far in an EVO, SAYS WHO? The numbers just don't back up such a claim. I consider a 9 second street driven car to be a true BEAST. Not many cars have the potential for this, the Viper, Vette, Mustangs, and Supra are few with the potential for this. The EVO is another.
didnt know there was these fast evos in ohio, besides all the HATING on this thread, evoviiyou and big, do you guys wanna do a lil meet some time with me and our local evos here at asrmotorsports.com? we are outta akron, we have 2 500hp evos, and mine not sure what will put out, mine is built completely but not finished yet. i did everything except the crazy motor flip around job that u got goin on big lol i wanna see that thing! but ya we need to setup a meet guys, like in july sometime, because my car wont be back til then. i hate wating !!! its been 6 months without my evo, and ya it sux.
