definetly the skyline i lived in okinawa japan and i drove a couple and i love them

 

Evo is a much better value for the $$$...but if $$$ was no object, then neither...I'd want an Enzo or a McLaren F1!

 

As soon as the full-spec (JDM-equivalent) left-hand drive fully-certified Skyline comes to the US, I will be selling my Evo. I love my Evo, but COME ON!

Yeah, JBJ, mine's a blue HPI (and eletric).

RHD in a LHD country = better be good at judging your far side because that's what's going to be passing oncoming traffic at a combined 100mph in many places.

 

Just for the simple fact that skylines are so rarely seen in the US I think that would make driving in one worth it

& to answer everyones next question..... I don't know why I don't have an evo body on any of my R/Cs, I don't get down to the hobby shop too much any more (I'm getting OLD I guess )

 

 

BTW the skyline can make 1000HP to the wheels on the internals, it is a 2.5 I6, so it has a small bore and stroke, and revs like crazy.


Skyline, without a doubt....

 

I'll take the Skyline, sell it, buy an Evo and a whole bunch of goodies. If I have any money left, I'll get one of those hybrid Civics to use as a daily driver.

 

As for the skyline, it's a gray market car. MotoRex bough a bunch of skylines in JPN and wrecked them in the US to satsify Fed's safety standards . . . about 10 to 15 at most were wrecked, studied, and cut in half w/ no potential to salvage.

In the end, their cost were passed onto the consumers. Imagine if they imported the S15. Would anyone buy one for 50-60 grand? Nope. Can't really cheat crash using data from the S13 or 14 chassis on the 240's.

 

I ran into this guy on the way down to GA a few weekends ago and happened to have my camera with me. Yes...I am in my former Stang so don't hate.
