Curious about the results of the STS kit.. What were your opinions of it? I was one of the people early on who wanted to test something like that for my Camaro back in the day.. I have to assume if you removed it, it wasn't giving you what you were looking for?

the gains were good 399rwhp and 414rwtq, i got the mail order tune wich sucked, when the car would warm up and you would be in boost a lot, the tune would just add fuel and retard timing.

i just lost interest in it, cause it got 2 expensive. i spent 5200 on the kit and to go to the next step for more boost, intercooler injectors or meth injection, it just got to be to much money for me.

so now i am going the head, cam , longtube, nitrous route and will be way over the power i was making with the turbo kit for way less money!!!!!!

the kit was very nice quality though and there are lots of people that love it and have very fast cars with it, but it just wasnt for me......

ITs nice to hear there's an option.. I am planning on picking up a 05 GTO to go along side my EVO when its paid off next year and this was one of the mods that appealed to me. Plus I still have nightmares about working on my LT1 97 Z28... I definitely would go with any kind of adjustable engine management and tune myself over any "canned flash"

That is the only other "Garbage Machine" product that I would own along side a C6 Vette. Your car has nice subtle lines and it is built in Australia. It is so much better looking than the mullet machine Firebirds and Camaros that it replaced.

It says, "Don't **** with me. I look mild, but I will kick your ****!"

Nice car!

Its funny you said that, I actually spent almost a year trying to import a Monaro into the USA just before I found out the GTO was coming.. This car is considered "Substantially similar" to the GTO so importing it would be easier since it could be converted to USDM legal status (if one chose to go LHD) But instead, I cancelled my plans and waited to see the GTO, in that time I saw the Evo and got one as initially a daily driver.. and look what I have done to myself.....

It would be cool but I doubt it. If your a member of ls1tech you know they have been talking about it for a while. If they brink the F-body back Ill sell mine and buy a new one.

BTW nice car. I am looking at adding FI to my setup. I was actually thinking about the STS but Im not sure yet. Ive heard good things about it.

nice, i like the GTO's as well and was trying to convince one of my brothers to pick one up to mod. If i had one i'd go ahead with the RMR widebody/touring kit and rebadge everything to the Monaro then the twin-turbo kit from RMR as well...

has anyone done any reviews on that TwinTurbo kit from RMR? and what about the kit they produce? Just wondering of its quality and public/consumers POV on the products.

Nice car! definately like that turbo kit but if going the other route is cheaper and faster than by all means go for it. Good luck.

That was exactly my original plan.. put the monaro cladding back on.. and twin turbos, I'm going to be putting a twin-turbo setup on my Malibu some time next year if I can get my S**T together..

i dont think anyone has done the rmr twin turbo set up yet.

there are quite a few people with the sts kit, one with a lingenfelter tt kit. and a hand full of vortech, and procharger kits, the rest have magnacharger,or nitrous, or heads cam and other bolt ons.

the most cost affective power you can do for my car, i think would be heads and cam, with full bolt on and add nitrous. you can make huge power with that set up for fairly cheap. and from what i have read the ls1 loves the bottle and will run good with it for a long time.
