I just bought a new 06Mitsubishi Eclipse it is fast and fun but nothing I hate more is the Front Wheel Drive. It makes me made that they (Mitsu) didn't make it AWD. It would be alot funner if it were. But it's still not a fast as an Evo. I like more less but do you guyes like it?

FF = FWD=Front Wheel Drive, which is what eclipse IS. i think u have that mixed with RWD =Rear Wheel Drive aka FR = Front engine Rear drive

and it's spelled ECLIPSE not ECLIPES...

i like the eclipse but yea, kinda a waste of all that torque from the v6 if it's only FWD. they'r kinda expensive too. how do u like the handling of it?

 

I think he thinks FWD=four wheel drive. It makes me so made when people make mistakes like that. Whoops! I meant it makes me so mad.

 

Its really fun I like gooing on all the turns in the country because I start to drift. And I love sliding using the E-brake. So ya the tires have lots of grip on the gas in the turns (Sorry about the miss spellings I am kind of sleepy.)

 

I kinda like them. The styling is decent (except for the front). If the Evo didn't exist, I'd own one. I've often wondered why they didn't make it RWD. Performance would be better, and it would be more of a true sports coupe.

Ya it would be great if it was eather RWD or AWD and if it came out with a V6 turbo and about 295hp and lots of tourqe. Thats my dream car. Also the car has no vision you cant see anything. So you need to very carefull and into-it. OH ya that was off topic but it really has no vision.

It cracks me up that you can't even spell the name of the car you just bought.

 

Autoweek just slammed it syaing it needed either (or both) the turbo engine or the AWD back. I loved my '97 but would not buy one unles it was AWD again. I think the styling and interior are OK but without AWD I have no interest.
