DAMN! STi S204 coming to the USA..

I seem to recall alot of evo owners said if this car came to the USA they would sell their evos.. looks like its official and Subaru has pulled out a trump card...We could only hope we get some FQ type evos to compete with this car.

Only 600 will be made and at 41,000 it's not worth the 320hp and 318lb ft of tq 2.0.

It's not coming here...and if it did it would probably be based off the 2.5 time bomb, not the 2.0.

Let is come to the US shores. I truly think it wouldn't have any competition at all, price to high, performance just a bit higher than a stock Evo 9 .

That thing cannot even compete to a BR350.... its only a bit faster than the evo 9, so i think there is nothing to be worried about. I must say it doesn't look that bad at all though.

yeah but this thing has much better handling then the BR350 with a stock evo suspension.. everything on the suspenion of this car is upgraded and co designed by yamaha... to bad I think the people that posted this on Iclub kinda mislead.. i dont think its coming here.. but if its a limited production car you could probably import it.

+ you have to consider that this car is most likely underated.. and with a simple boost controller you would me making alot more power with the ball bearing turbo.

Um, "nationwide" probably just means the nation of Japan if this is from a Japanese publication.

Previous versions have done battle versus Evo's on Top Gear and have come up short...and if this did come to the US, which it isn't, it would probably be well above $40k...and make an MR look like a bargain. I doubt it's much faster if at all, look at the IX compared to the scooby now, IX's are getting 103-106 consistently in the 1/4 versus 100-103 for the STI.

"As its predecessors S202 and S203, the new Impreza S204 will only be available in Japan. This special edition model will be limited to 600 examples, and each of them will cost about five milion japanese yen (approx. $40,000) when it debuts on January 13th"

Key words are, "will only be available in Japan."
