*disclaimer i am 19 (well in a few weeks) and no where near an amazing driver*
My take on s2k vs. evo (driven both recently more like yesterday and own neither)
(all my driving comparison of these cars is on the streets)
(BOTH HAVE STOCK SUSPENSIONS)
Yes its obvious evo is faster than s2k in a straight, done with that.
The evo is easier to drive around corners, yes cause the back doesn't suddenly slide out on you like in the s2k. But i feel the s2k if driven correctly can take the corner faster. I find myself entering a corner faster with the s2k than the evo. (I Did have the s2k catch me off gaurd and slide on a turn but it wasn't difficult to compensate and regain control.) The drawbacks the s2k can;t ever catch up on is the straights. and that like i said is for obvious reasons. I did wish it had more low end power but once u get the vtec open its moves very nicely. The evo in the corners i feel i have to take slower cause of body roll and size of the car. (But i never have pushed the evo around a corner to its limit like i did the s2k and the reason for this is cause i am pretty sure it would just understeer and i wouldn;t make the turn)
So in my conclusion i believe the s2k would beat the evo around a track that is mostly turns and no real straights for the evo to catch up on.

Since this topic (S2000 vs Evo) has been beaten to death for the last 3+ years, and it's unrelated to the original topic, I'm locking this.
I will add that if you want to prove something, using Gran Turismo is probably not a good basis of argument.
