Contradict yourself much? Your statements are naive and childish. Why is it threatening to you that new roadster is coming out? I applaud all new sports car offerings things have been real good here for the past 5 or so years and looks to be getting better.

I personally think they're boring looking. I compare Hondas to "a girl with a good personality"; not much to look at, but you can count on her. Take that for what it is. Anyway, why don't you wait and see how the car is before dismissing it.

How did I contradict myself?I'm not threatened by the car, I find it to be extremely ugly.

Saw one up in person... man! is that thing tiny... Roadster of course... but didn't get a chance to sit in it... hopefully the Sky Redline will be all it's "cracked" up to be... the base price is awesome!! compared to a 34k S2k... sad sad sad... we'll see how GM fairs up...

I agree, it's ugly, but it will be fast and a close match to the S2000.
IMO, this is a huge step in the right direction for Saturn. This car looks great compared to every other Saturn ever released. I don't think I would choose it over a new S2K though......
The reason is that I own a 2000 S2K, and that car is a blast. It's not as fun as my Evo was, and it's not going to be as much fun as my '57 Bel Air will be (540 cid big block power), but it's still a fun car to tool around in. I've never driven a car that redlines at 9,000 RPM, something about that makes me smile every time I wind it out. It handles great stock, and with the new sticky BFGs I just put on it, handles even better. As long as I've had it, I've never had one problem with it. Plus, like a Toyota you can always count on a Honda for reliability. True, it doesn't have much low end torque, but it's no slug off the line, what's the stock 0-60 time, like 5.1, 5 seconds flat? That's not slow for a $35,000 or less car!

Auto companies perform best when they're at their worst. GM cant afford to screw around these days and will put 110% into all their new products.
Trust me, I want GM to succeed. Ford too. But I haven't seen anything from either that indicates their interiors are equal to Honda or Toyota. I hope the new products do have good interiors, but GM has been down this road before.
