So you have owned every car that all those companies have ever built and can make summary judgements on each of them? Outstanding.
I've had personal experience with several different makes and models myself, but sometimes I like to see what others say.

I understand where you are coming from, but you did not make a distinction between the car's you want to own, and the rest of the car's they built. You simply said Toyota, Honda and Nissan build better cars.
I honestly think the 350Z is of marginal quality and not better built then the Evo at all. I have never owned one, but I have sold several used examples.

I think just the opposite. I got into a brand new 350Z on the car show floor, all excited and my very first impression was ho hum. Cheap plastic, vast expanses of boring. But then I figured, that's cool, its a performance car, the inside is just to be functional - not necessarily pretty. However, I found its performance lackluster. Their community has had its issues too.
That's so beside the point. You want to focus on the performance cars, but then take shots at the rest of the lineup. What does that have to do with quality? What's so beautiful about the Quest, the Camry, the Pilot, the Sentra, etc etc?
Plus I'm sorry but every mitsubishi that's currently in production other than the evo is horrendously ugly.

In any case we can go back and forth all day, but this is going nowhere. We obviously just have completely opposite opinions.
How many of you guys have actually went to the dealership and seen the Sky in person? I'm guessing not many. I went last Saturday to look at one, and wound up test driving it. I was impressed by the car. Pictures don't do it justice. It looks a lot better in person. The fit and finish is a lot better than I expected. While the power is a bit lacking, it was fun to drive. I think it handles almost as well as an S2000. The interior is very nice, much nicer than the EVO, and just as nice as an S2000. I think there's a little too much chrome on it, but that's just me. I can't wait to try out the Redline. And no, I'm not a Saturn fan. This is the first one I would consider owning.

It's a honda, they have amazing reliability, unless you start bouncing them off the rev limiter. As for the lemon idea, I believe Top Gear said that honda has made about 100 million VTEC systems and not had one failure. Nice try, you're more likely to find lemons on a saturn.

Have you ever sat in a 350Z (nissans sports car).. they have an awful interior because it is mainly based on performance as is mitsu's sports car the EVO. but on the other hand if you go buy a decked out Maxima or a Montero they are very nice and reliable.

The quality of materials used is far better when compared to the evo. The evo interior feels very cheap (not so much on the 9) The plastics and colors just dont make for a nice looking interior. Also, the materials used for body panels makes the paint not match. The 350 on the other hand has an amazingly nice interior. The materials, the electronics, the lighting all looks and feels way better. To me its the little things like this that really matter... And as for reliability I can say from experience that its no contest. I baby my evo and I've had more problems in 10,000 miles than he's had in 25k.
What are you insane???
Your joking right?
Im confused... if your so into looks then why did you buy an econobox lancer? If you wanted looks and performance you should have got a vette.
