Im fairly certain I never claimed a stock S2000 to be capable of being faster than supercars and/or corvettes.
Furthermore, the S2000 has class, something you will never have.
So laugh it up and enjoy your econobox lancer, and Ill enjoy my 150TQ Honda and that will be that.

While you spent $33,000 for 150tq (because you don't want to go fast), I'll be driving around in my $4,000 1996 Miata, with 100tq (because apparently it doesn't matter), and with the $29,000 I saved, I'll go and put in an order for an Evo IX. You want timeless looks? Go with the car that prompted the S2000 to exist in the first place, the Miata.
That being said, I'll take a Sky Redline please!

Boxster*..... i just realized i have been spelling that wrong

As for the S2000 being a chick car... I can say with fair certainty that it is not. Of the thousands of S2000 owners I've met, maybe 1 in 5 was a woman - and many of them were very good drivers. If you want the chick cars in this group, it's the base model Boxster and Z4 with a slushbox. 90% woman driven.

The rims are 18", standard alloy. The chrome rims pictured are optional, but they are also 18". The pricing information has been "leaked" on the Redline, starting at $27,000. That's still well south of the cost of an S2000. With over 100 foot pounds more of torque and near 50/50 weight distubution, its going to spank the silly honda.
I fail to see how it's going to have significantly better weight distribution than the S2000's 49/51.
Not to mention that Saturn dealers will probably be adding a market adjustment to the optioned price of $30-32,000 which will make it more expensive.

But yes, some Saturn dealers already have market adjustments for just the regular Sky (and there is still a long line, its about a 2-4 month wait). However I know of several Saturn dealers sticking true to the MSRP, no questions asked. You just have to ask around.
Yes I am entitled to my opinion and in my opinion is that just being a corner carver isn't it enough for me, I'd could get a Miata for that. Also define corner carver, the S2000 is nice, but I'd take the power, the awesome grip, awesome steering, TORQUE, and corner carving abilities of my EVO over the S2000 anyday. Somebody said they'd take a modded S2000, hope you mean Forced Induction, cuz bolt ons get you know where with that car. Let's cut straight to the point, the S2000 is a tired and overrated vehicle, affordable Ferrari my ***, your so called corner carver finished a dismal 7th place in Road and Track's all around sports car test, understandable to place behind beasts like Vipers, C6 Vettes, and Porsches, and real corner carvers like a Lotus Elise, but to finish nearly a second behind a SLK350 is another story. In the land of parking lot cone races, the S2000 puts up a decent fight, but when it comes to real track racing, the S2000 and it's many faults are exposed. Hate my opinion all you want, but all ask for is Honda to offer a better more powerful sports car. The S2000 in my opinion is just a nice car, the Sky Redline has the possibility of being bad ***. Another S2000 on the road *YAWN*, a Sky Redline on the road, now this could be interesting.
