Im confused... if your so into looks then why did you buy an econobox lancer? If you wanted looks and performance you should have got a vette.
I don't like american cars... And the interiors on vettes are about the crappiest interiors on earth. Plus the evo was 30k and the vette is 60k.

I know how much it is, and its worth every penny. You never said a certian year. Yes, the older Z06's were kinda plain but they still had nice performance... what other car can you buy for....lets say under 100k can run LOW 11's stock, looks that good, and can all around out perform ANY thing even remotly close to its price. The new C6 Z06's are king of the roads..PERIOD!!

confused as to why this is turning into a "Corvette's are awesome" debate?

Im pretty sure we were talking about a 20k convertible before and how it is supposed to 'knock the s2000' out of the water? And now we're talking about cars that cost 60-100k?

irrelevant, maybe?

If you would have taken the time to read the posts in order you would have seen that I obviously don't think the Saturn is going to put pressure on the Honda.

Im content with my Honda too I wouldnt trade it for a porsche boxster s, a Z4, and I would definately never consider buying this horrifically ugly SATURN over the S2000.
Anyways, the new Saturn may have a good amount of power, but the looks just don't cut it for me and the idea of owning a Saturn would never cross my mind. Even if it's a turbocharged Saturn, to me it is still simply a Saturn, hell it even looks like it belongs in the Saturn lineup... and that should say something.

I don't think the S2000 is going to be on the market much longer. I think this will be its last year.

They've been saying that since before the 04 model came out with the slight facelift... Who knows when Honda is going to stop making them, as long as they keep selling.

The topic slowly changed to corvettes because for some reason you keep bringing up corvettes.

The car was intended to be a Vauxhall, but won't be. Opel gets a version called the GT. They're all the same car, front engine rear drive 260 ±10 HP. The Opel loses some of the chrome. Marginally better looking car, IMO.

The interior of the vette looks nice, but that's about it. The switchgear and a lot of the controls are very chintzy. The layout and general ergonomics are vastly inferior to the S2000's. This is a problem that is endemic to nearly every Big 3 product made - good concept, poor execution. Now, the C6 is an awesome car, an awesome performance value, and the interior is much better than the C5, but it still needs work. And if GM can't execute the $50,000+ C6 interior, why would you think they can pull off the $27,000+ Sky's?

I still haven't gotten to really look at either car, as they're not very common here, so I don't know for sure; but I can't recall a GM product that had a well thought out and well put together interior.
