I learned that the hard way. stoplight-style launch from 60mph...

 

My dad's a funny guy. I've been spending all sorts of money on my evo trying to make it faster that what I thought was going to be a stock Z06 so I could beat him. I bought a 50trim thinking that would be perfect. Well he went behind my back and sent his car to LG and had some work done. Now I'm stuck with a turbo that doesn't stand a chance in hell to beat him.

This pissing match goes back years to when I put Nitrous on my T/A and didn't tell him when we raced. He'd sent his C5 to Lingenfelter and had a 382 motor installed. Needless to say I beat him really bad, and this 540hp monster is his revenge.

 

Time for a Gt35r or a Gt42r!

 

Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun. My mom & dad have slow Porskees: cayenne, boxster and a regular carrera. I'm still on stock turbo and I smoke them all That c6 I mentioned above left me like I was standing still from 60mph. Met up with the guy at a meet and find out he's supercharged + NOS. fuggedaboutit!
