Oh i thought the stingray was def in the trash, last i read today was on SVTperformance and it was the z07... regardless its going to be a supercharged LS7... Ummm yeah i think its hard to even imagine how fast that car will be.

IN 1/2 a heartbeat. The z06 is pure sex on wheels. Everythign on that car is better except for the cabin space and lack of awd. Traction isn't really an issue when you are packing the huge stockers out back.

 

i'd keep the evo.. since is not so expensive to get mods for it... if you get a z06 might as well keep that thing stock (unless ur rich)

 

I wouldn't even think twice about it, and my IX is brand new. The corvette is worlds sexier, and is just an animal performance wise, it truly is an amazing machine (as is the evo).

 

WOW. Id expect this kind of fanboi BS attitude from those idiots that drive Neons with turbos and htink they are the hottest thing running, but I honestly expected better from this lot.

Why dont you watch the TOP GEAR episode on the c6Zo6 again and see how it destroyed 2/3 of the cars on the board. Including the FQ400, and the Ferrari F430. Hell the motor is worth HALF an evo. Lets see. LS7 powered Corvette with a 800.00 cam 800.00 tuning, and 1500 exhaust with headers. Would probably lay waste to more than 50% of the cars on this forum. Add a 150 shot for another 1000.00 and now its 2/3 of the cars in this forum. Thats just on the straights, lets not even get started on the twisty's.

Can yo umake an Evo faster, yes you can. But thinking its a better car because of it is just plain ignorant. Id rather have a 11 second Z06 than a 10 second evo.

I heard that too. The stingray nameplate is in the garbage. It's most likely going to be called the z07.

 

The Z06 is an amazing performance bargain...if you can swing the $70,000 base price. For us average Joes, the Evo is just as good of a bargain.

No question. the c6 z06 is schweet. No question. I rather have a stock c6z06 over a 500whp evo.

 

To be completely honest i would not. Only because i put so much time effort and money into my evo that it's too hard to get rid of it. And the fact that i love imports beating muscle cars . 4 cylinder > 8 cylinder!

 

i wouldn't trade my Evo for it, but it's the first choice when it comes to adding another car to my garage. if the c6z came with 4 doors and awd then yes, my Evo would be gone
