Evo to Z06

I think this all comes down to preference. The Z06 is a great performance car with outstanding looks. However, I would "Never" trade my EVO for one. This isn't because I wouldn't want one, but because:
- I have two kids
- I'd kill myself in a rear wheel drive car with that much power
- I don't like the seating position - Almost feels like your laying down
- I would not want to worry about when I could drive it (weather)
I have several friends with Vettes ( one C5 and the other a C6 ) and they rarely drive their car, mostly because of the weather around here (both cars are modded)
The reasons I listed above can not be argued only because these are the reasons "I" would not trade. Many of you may not have kids, or worry about driving hard in the rain. It doesn't matter. Saying "weather" is a stupid reason not to trade is a bad argument. For you, weather conditions might mean nothing only because your a great driver and use to driving rear wheel drive cars in bad weather conditions or any kind of car for that matter. Someone else who uses that excuse might not have your driving skills or feel comfortable with it, me for example.
Please don't shoot some of us down because our reasons for not wanting to trade don't fall in line with your preferences.

that's what you don't understand...the z06 targets a specific enthusiast, one that wants pure performance and a race inspired sports car 
if you want the luxury or whatever (and slower car), then so be it....believe me, when you're accelerating 0-60 in 3.6 seconds with your cheeks plastered to your skull, or when getting nosebleeds from 100-0 stops or experiencing 1.1 lateral G's, the last thing you're worried about is the quality of the interior, lol.............besides, it's not as bad as you hope it is...it's been greatly improved over the c5...and the looks is opinion, most people think it's a sexy car (definately worlds sexier than an Evo).
that's kind of why i sounded harsh earlier when flaming the other responses like "oh it can't fit 4 people, it can't go to the mountains" blah blah....BECAUSE IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE, lol......that's like trading for Shaq and complaining he can't play point guard, or complaining that Nolan Ryan didn't hit any homeruns!! or that wayne gretzky can't play goalie!
either way, name me one car in the $70k range that performs as well as the z06....i know ferrari, porsche, and lambo owners get nervous when they see one at the track

No, I completely understand who the Z06 targets. I stated I wouldn't trade my Evo for one because at its price point there are cars I like better. Did I say it didn't outperform the Evo? Of course not.
I also stated clearly that I was ok with a 70k car that doesn't perform as well as the Z06 but makes up for it in other ways. It's not all about speed all of the time. Besides, I can just save my money for a 911 Turbo at that point.

No way I would trade my evo for a Z06.. Dont get me wrong its a nice car. But for the price I could easily get an Ariel Atom and to me the Atom is a much better car as I only like to rip on cars in the corners.. Not much of a straigh line guy

I guess that begs the question - Why did you get an EVO instead of a Atom?
Your right. The Ariel Atom is so much better of a "car" if you like being exposed to the elements. not having an airbag, or AC....or a car for that matter.
The Ariel Atom is only good for track days. While the Vette could be driven across town, or across state
