At the track event I went to, a guy had the C32 amg, it was a nice car, only in auto though, and I did beat his time and he had springs, shocks, sways, race tires and much more road race experience than me.
All AMG cars have an automatic with a sequential shifter. It's lame. =/ I had an SLk 350 with a Six Speed, AMG Suspension, AMG Body Kit, and EVERY other option. It was a metallic blue color. I was going to get the SLK 55, which was badass. But no manual option. So I chose the SLK 350. I like to be in touch with the car.

Not all of them are marked up -- it depends on the dealer. For example - this one is at MSRP of $74,000 link

Without options you could get one for $70k. Regardless, I like the CTS/CTS-V a lot. I can't wait to see the new one with 515hp+

Hey, can I see pictures of your E55 AMG, that's one of my favorite cars! I went to Mercedes the other day and I saw the E65!! It's got the new AMG motor in it, looks crazy, lots of power and torque. The body hasn't changed though. Just looked like they put different rims on it, as well as bigger rotors.

Yeah, I don't like the non-V model either.

The new "non-V" model will have 310hp+ V6 -- it should be a runner.

There is tuning shop around here where my buddy had his GTO flashed that has a 600whp Vspec with some giant Alcon brakes and quite a few other upgrades. It really hauls ***.

I've been looking at them for a while since I get manufacturer pricing on them but, my wife has this "Cadillac is for old people, anti-American car" stigma going on.
