For a guy that claims to be a high-performance driving instructor, he sure doesn't know much about cars and motorsports! He goes on and on about how the S2000 is a purpose-built race car but doesn't seem to be aware of the Evo's long and illustrious motorsports career. When has an S2000 ever won a race?
And since he doesn't respect race cars that are built on an existing production chassis, I guess he has no respect for the Integra Type R, BMW E30 M3, and Porsche GT3-RSR either?
As an instructor myself, I'm surprised at his attitude. All the instructors I know love and respect all cars. I would never make fun of an S2000 or a 350Z or a Mazda RX8 or any other car. Not even a Corolla.

goodness this guys a retard...he claims how exceptional the s2k is off from the showroom...yet the Evo comes strapped with BBS(MR) wheels, Advan A046 tires, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel, and a pretty large turbo for a factory car...PS: I used to bash on the evo's interior, but once i sat in a S2k, i stopped talking, i excepted a LOT more from honda. The only nice part of the S2k interior is the steering wheel and seats(which of course..arent better than the evo's recaros or momo wheel) The center console is a joke.

I wouldn't go that far. The engine is a gem and the car handles well in stock form. With a few mods, it can be great on the track.
However, I would never drive a convertible on the track. I've seen a few cars roll-over in my day. I prefer to keep my head attached to my shoulders, thank you very much

blah blah blah, didnt get pass the 4th paragraph. but sounds like the writer is just trying to feel better about his "cute little honda" after getting whooped by an evo earlier that morning...
