IS350's run 13.6 if you just put your foot down when the light turns green.
And Z's run 13.9 as often as VIII's run 12.9 ; We all know what they ACTUALLY run.
Moving on, i don't understand why the guy who started this thread went from a 330 whp IX to a stock MS3? Odviously couldn't take the payments, as somebody else said.
All that being said, no matter how much pride we all have; that trap shows strong power, VERY comparable to a stock VIII...

ok my friend has a 2006 350z stick we went to LACR i know its a slow track but the bestttt he ever ran was a 15.1 so dont even start with me on saying a 350z runs 13z because if thats what you think i got nothing more to say to you. he usualy ranged from 15.4 to 15.2 at LACR

Please bring that IS350 that ran 13.6 and let him run at LACR and if he even runs a 13.9 ill give him 500 bucks on the spot. Its a fkn automatic how much can you fk up when driving it. But im serious bring that IS350 to LACR and lets see what he runs. And if you live far ill pay for your gas to get back home if you run what you just said
I just put 255/40 rt-615's on my stock rims and feel like i'm driving a Mercedes now. Any pussier wouldn't even be a sports car in my book.
I still don't think you could handle the payments

so because your friend only runs 15.1's that means no one can run a high 13? Thats like saying i can only run a mile in 6 minutes...so no way can any one run a mile in any thing under 5.

Performance ratings (C/D est):
Zero to 60 mph: 5.8 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 14.4 sec
Top speed (governor limited): 155 mph
there is a hell of a difference bro. and i don't think there is enough evidence out there to support your decision. nice move

Yeah this post was a very hard attempt at justifying your trade in. Evos aren't for everybody. I driven EVERY new mazda except for the mazdaspeed 3. I can see why you traded the car in. Evos are for the people who want the true unadulterated driving experience. Mazdaspeeds are for people cannot handle the driving experience of the evo but still wants a turbocharged 4cylinder car and are willing to sacrifice the driving experience for some comfort, like my grandfather.
It's not that 350z's are slow - they just have no traction. They don't trap much below a stock Evo, but they lose about half a second due to lack of traction, so they appear slow. Plus, most owners suck at driving, and launching FWD is difficult on street tires, so you end up with a lot of 14-sec 350Z's. To be fair, I've seen my fair share of STIs and Evos run 14s, too, so you can't base the car's ability of crappy drivers. A stock Eclipse GT has a lot of power, too, so it can hit 14s, but it's also limited by both traction and weight.
This MS3 or whatever may hit an extremely high 13s on a full moon in Australia, but it's not a 13-sec car.
