no i didnt say no one could run better im just saying a 350z is not a 13 sec car like he said " 350z runs 13.9 allll dayy" i dont think so. Ive seen plenty of 350z... and at LACR you have to be lucky to get it into the high 14z. Trust me i used to be the biggest 350z fan before i got my evo i know that car inside and out and i know it aint a 13 sec car when its bone stock. I acctualy have 4 friends who all have white 350zs and none of them hit 13z. One has the nismo package with cold air intake nismo exhaust rims shocks and some other bolt ons and he was runing mid 14z at LACR. I know thats a realy slow track but i dont think there would be a difference of 15.1 to 13.9 thats what im saying. so try to think about it because you post a reply next time.

i don't hate you guys, I had a evo ix I enjoyed it for awhile. the rough ride started to take it toll. so I traded it in for something a easier on the back , but still has some power. I have no idea why I should be riddiculed for this. I miss the speed of the evo but then again there is only one second difference in the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times between the two cars.

100 mph trap = 1.67 miles per minute = 8800 ft per minute = 146.67 ft per second = almost a 50 yard *** whooping in that "only 1 second difference"

the evo is a harsh ride...no doubt about it...however, as far as you starting this thread...it does look a little fishy...like you're begging for approval or some sort of acceptance...i've heard some good things about the mp3...wouldn't buy one myself, but i do see where you're coming from...if comfort was an issue mp3 ...sure the hug from the recaro's in the mp3 are similar...not going to jump on the bash wagon like some of these other people...use a little diligence when making posts, evom is a shark pool...

I was actually thinking the same thing, either he could not afford the evo or he blew something major (engine/diff/trans) and had to dump it onto an unsuspecting (non mitsu) dealer...

You f ucking pussies get off this guys nuts. I feel embarrassed to be associated with this site and all the asshatery going on in this thread. Dude manned up and made a move to get a car that was better suited to his needs. He is man enough to admit the car was taking a toll on him and wasn't right for him.

Instead of congratulating and wishing him well with his new ride, you pussies sit behind your f ucking screens fapping away at who's gonna come up with the next whitty remark. Look at me, I bashed someone in cyberspace. Go f uck yourselves.

And to you pussies saying he can't make the payments or he blew something up, get a f ucking clue. How in the hell can you deduce that from his first post. What, we got f ucking mind readers and s hit in here? I don't think so.

All you guys can go DIE IN A FIRE!

I don't agree with his decision, but I can see where he's coming from. From a monetary standpoint, isn't the MSP3 only a few grand cheaper? It's not like he's dropping $200 a month in payments or anything.

I had a run in with one of those. Pretty quick lil cars. They're not necessarily EASY to run away from stock for stock. But we didn't play long cause I don't like messin around like that on the street. He still lost by a couple car lengths

Nice cars nonetheless.

Exactly. Show me an Evo that cracks 12s bone stock. It's another case of ONE doing it, and then everybody thinking ALL of them do it.

I've seen a stock STi run a 12.89 stock. I've seen the car myself, and even "inspected" it myself. Unless he had something as minor as an ECU flash, that car was in fact stock.....down to the air filter. This doesn't mean that each and every single STi/STI is capable of, or going to run 12.89s.

This is starting to sound like an LS1 website, where one 2002 Camaro SS ran 12s, and then everyone jumped on the bandwagon claiming "LS1s run 12s."

Personally, the fastest stock Evo I've ever seen (about 60% of the ones I've seen coughed up their clutches/trannies) ran a 13.30 @ 102 mph. The fastest stock LS1 Camaro I've ever seen ran 13.60s @ 105 mph. Aside from the one "wonder car" STi, the ones I've seen normally average around the same times as the Evos.

I agree with you, but no reason to get all *****y about it. Does the average stock IX run 12s, of course not! Most of us agree with that, so what is the problem. But do most IXs have the potential to runs 12s, YES. Sh*t I consider myself a horrible drag racer, and even I ran 13.3@103mph stock with a 1.9 60ft and some horrible *** shifting, and like I said I am completely ashamed of my drag racing abilities, I keep a list of all the fast EVOs and I am not even on the sh*t yet .

Anyhow I agree with a previous post, that the thread starter is crying for approval, why? Congrats on your MS3, it is a nice car and probably fit your needs much better than EVO, but like I said to you on another thread, you get no props on your poor car buying choices. I started a thread in the newbie forum for people just like him, check it out. Stop trying to compare your MS3 to an EVO, they are different cars, meant for different purposes.

Wow everything makes sense now, and I thought I was horrible, look at these miserable stock times ran by ELECTRICIX-

first run
R/T.... .319
60'.... 2.275
330'..... 6.894
1/8..... 10.274
mph.... 75.25
1000.... 13.071
1/4..... 15.398
mph....97.77

second run
R/T.... .480
60'.... 2.282
330'....6.206
1/8..... 9.360
mph.... 78.50
1000..... 12.063
1/4..... 14.331
mph.... 99.85

Dude did you ever think that, just perhaps your car wasn't the problem, it was you? You talk all this crap about MS3s running 13s, but I know you won't get anywhere near 13s with your driving skills, your simply a horrible driver.

Also before you talk crap about how your EVO IX must of been slow and it wasn't you (even though that miserable 60 foot says differently), check out another EVO IX owner, his first time-

60' 2.081
330 5.787
1/8 8.940
MPH 78.38
1000 11.683
1/4 13.953 @ 99.83

After some practice-

60' 1.851
330' 5.464
1/8th 8.529
MPH 79.35
1000' 11.160
1/4 13.348@103.53

60' 1.847 <--Best 60'
330' 5.503
1/8th 8.573
MPH 79.56
1000' 11.196
1/4 13.375@104.02

Let his friend drive the car-

60' 1.940
330' 5.416
1/8th 8.368
MPH 82.96
1000' 10.948
1/4 13.091@105.51

60' 1.967
330' 5.500
1/8th 8.452
MPH 82.55
1000' 11.001
1/4 13.139@105.71 <-Best MPH
