I will be doing the LT-1 route becasue of my familiarity with it and I have a bunch of lfet over stuff from when I had my TA. But yah know when it is all good and done how much of an LT1 or even LS1 will be there?

Sure there are better engines out there but I am more familiar with the LT1 and they are plentiful.

I know what you are saying about getting what you put into them. To me it's a cost factor. I don't want it to turn into a $50k weekend toy when there are other worthy cars to be had for $50k and won't be kit cars.
I have a '94 Camaro with an LT1. Just blew a head gasket at 175,000 miles, but never ticked, tocked, burned a drip of oil, etc. It's nothing more than a head gasket. Yeah, I could go ahead and replace it, but why? I'll just rebuilid.

You couldn't pay me to own an LS1. They're pieces of sh*t as far as I'm concerned.

Go to www.camaroz28.com and tell them that the LS1 wasn't built by god. It's more effective. Trust me. Just go tell them that you have an LT1 with basic bolt-ons and you whipped an LS1's ***.

It has the same effect as going over to www.iwsti.com and telling them that the STi that was racing that Scion tC that whipped its *** in that video really was racing!

Much love for the F-Body. No love for the LS1. When it comes to American V8s, I'll take an iron block/aluminum heads.
