My new 200 mph ride
I was being sarcastic with the title... 
. This one was tough. I had to strategically pitch money in to get it but is now over, I went and I got me a red 2008 C6 Z06. The 335i left me a good lasting impression, I will miss that car, it was comfortable, quick, and it had a great appeal but since the C6 Z06 came out I was very very impressed with it.
Maybe in prior posts you heard me saying that I was interested in the GTR, yes indeed I was. For a few weeks I was very excited about getting a GTR but unfortunately the marketing on this car just ruined it completely.
I made several attempts to obtain a GTR at MSRP but it looks like most of the dealers already sold their allocations and the GTR lefts are being sold as we speak for $20000 all the way to $50000 over the price.
That left me with no other option but to get the Corvette Z06 which was my inmediate second option. This car will not dissapoint you specially with the many changes made in 08.

You are not the only one nor the first one that told me that..
In all reality my close friends that knows me know that I am a humble military guy, I just spend my salary in cars
On a serious note, the 08 Z06 gets the following upgrades from previous 06-07 years:
- Tremec TR-6060 new revised/upgraded Transmission instead of the Tremec TR-56
- Revised steering(sharper performance)
- Revised rear suspension(softer yet more efective) last suspension was "tail happy"
- I-pod jack
- Satellite radio
- On-star
- Digital compas
- Center carbon fiber looks console

. That is a picture that my lady created so that we could post pics of the Evos(back then). It has been widely used just for most of the car pictures.
