why are you selling you evo for a bmw???
I would have bought an audi if I had the money, for the masdaspeed6 was the most affordable awd car. My only issue with the evo is the wing. I think its a awsome looking car, but you or old, professional or surf bum, I just think the wing is too much.
The 335i is sweet, but again it cost 3-4 times more than my car and I still want a car with awd. An audi RS4 would be seet, but thats crazy money imo. I could probably afford it if I stopped drinking and smoking and buying advan rims, audison and dynaudio car audio, boats, jeeps and other crap.

I have a professional job and dont give 2 craps what people think.
However I would definately step into a BMW if I could afford one and likely will in time to come. BMW stands behind thier product and treat you like a king when your there for what ever reason. As does Acura.
The cars are 1000 time more comfortable then an EVO and look great to boot

So, they have a great car and know it but, it also has it's problems. My wife's 335 has been in the shop more than my Evo ever was. Her cars was early production though. Mine has been a good bit more reliable than hers has been.
Also, since they now have turbo cars back in the US that can easily be modified to make a considerable amount of power over stock they have adopted most Mitsu dealers attitude towards mods. Pretty much any mod makes warranty work a hassle.
I was going back and forth about getting an EVO or a BMW, finally after seeing how much the maintenace on a BMW was I went for the Evo, (even thought Evo's are not exactly cheap, they are cheaper than Bimmers). I was looking at a 330i ZHP, but after looking more into it I also see they have alot of problems with their "Zanos", aka MiVEC on Mitsu's. But if I really look back at it now after getting an Evo I really wish I would have gotten the ZHP 330i. I'm kinda sore after all my dealership pains (read link in Sig). I went from a 00 Civic SI to a Evo 9, so next will be the Bimmer.

The first 4 years 50K miles on a BMW maintenance is free. Which is kind of a joke because my wife's car says it can 1 year or 24K miles which ever come first until it needs service which is basically just an oil change. My car says to go 15K miles but, I still change the oil every 7,500 miles.
VANOS would be under warranty still if you bought CPO, isn't really much of a problem and from what i recall the Evo was not exactly cheap to maintain well. So, I really don't get your logic but, whatever.
The only BMW I would consider buying is the 135i, but I would rather have an Evo X because I don't want to be associated with the many douches that drive BMWs and Evos are cheaper to make faster. The Evo X is also better looking than any of the current BMWs in my opinion. I think the 135i has the potential to destroy the Evo X if it comes with a LSD, though.
Why do I plan on getting a 135i after I graduate? Smoother, slicker, cruise control, mature styling, 4 years of free maintainance, smaller turn radius. Don't get me wrong - I love my evo. I guess my tastes are maturing and I don't need such a raw car anymore.
People like you are what I call "quite interesting individuals" and I mean it very sarcasticlly. The 135i has no less power than the 335i, they both share the same engine thus your assesment is icorrect. The N54 is making 300lb-tq @1400 to the crank (which is actually more like 320-330lbtq since the engine is super underrarted) but you don't talk none of that uhm?

The bmw guy even said if that dyno was for the 135I it would be a freak car. Obviously he drove both the 335I and 135I and felt the 335I being faster.
At any rate the evo is better bang for the buck.

I, too, was wondering where he got a Mazdaspeed 6 for $10K lol.
There's a lot of speculation about BMW's in this thread. One guy thought the 135i made less power, I guess b/c it was a 1-35 and not a 3-35
Then someone else thinks the 335i cost $70K-$80K. If I'm not mistaken a 335i with sport package runs about $42K. I'm not a fan of BMW's minamilastic looking interior and the 335i is a bit long for my tastes.
I rarely see Evo Xs here and I live in SoCal which is basically Evo capital. I see Evo VIIIs and IXs more often than Xs, but they are still rare and it's always the same ones. The 135i is relatively cheap (lesser than an Evo X) so I will see a bunch more of the people I'm talking about (snobby immature d bags straight out college or rich kids) rolling around when the 135i gets more exposure to the public. I predict it's going to be as common a 350Z. In my area Zs are like Civics in popularity.
