Spotted the new Civic Si in person today I have to say it looks way better than I would've thought. Not half as Mini-vanish as I first anticipated. With a K20 engine swap to convert them to partial Type R status those things can really be something. That new shifter concept is still a hard one to understand though especially when you see it in person. Nice that is still has the Type R racing buckets though. Rims aren't much to look at but hey 16x6s are better than nothing. All in all not too bad.

 

I like the shifter when i was at the NY auto show i enjoyed it very much

 

New Si reminds me of the "Hump back of Notre Dome"

the 2002 si sucks. It is slower than the old si and does not handle well. Believe me, it is nothing special.

Also, the K20A engine swap would be impossible, are u talking about the engine swap from the civic type-r?

I'd say it's a nice car for what it is - I think the mere fact that people don't like Hondas and drive their Mitsus think any Honda made car sucks... Typical or whatever the reason why they sell so well and are so damn common is due to the fact that Honda makes good quality cars.

I personally just don't like american civics. I love Odysseys and Accords. I don't think anyone's actually dumb enough to dispute the Honda D and R or let alone complain about it.

 

the new Civic Si is ok, i like the Type-R look better.
if i had enough money 2 get the Si and change it 2 a Type-R right away i would but for now its just a dream

 

eh, i'd prefer a civic si over my lancer. i need a job.

 

New SI is a nice car. I'd also take it over my lancer.

 

I scorched an si in my lancer...and had a passenger..to the knumskull who said he'd take the honda over the lancer...good ridance, I hope you afford one soon.

 

Well you know some people get lucky once or so in their life an just have to say that was probally it.....
