Quote: Does this mean that if it's a beautiful summer day and you decide you want to drive the Vette to work you can't because if you stop for coffee and get t-boned the insurance will not cover you Sounds like a great rate and all but that sucks. I wouldn't want to be so limited on when I can drive the car.
I don't know!! They say don't drive the car to work I'm not driving the car to work pretty simple if you ask me. If I drive to the mall, dinner, the coast, a show, just driving, etc it's always covered. The 2 people I know had the following: 1. Driving on the interstate going out to eat got slammed by behind. Check cut within a week. 2. Went on a mountain drive in Austin lost control check cut within a week. No mileage limitations. I only put on 23k miles on my EVO in 3yrs I doubt I'll put more on this.

Both had their car over insured.

Very nice! Definitely a car I would love to have in my stable!

My recommendation for mods would start with this:

My boss has that exact car, and I know it inside and out. Thing is sick, but I must admit, if I had the choice between driving the Evo and driving the Vette, I'd choose the Evo, 9 times out of 10. The Z06 is just too easy to lose control of, even with the traction control on. I imagine a bit more driving experience helps, but damn, that thing is like an wild horse.

I really don't even enjoy american cars, but if i had to grab the keys to one car - it would be the vette.

Who cars if its a bit harder to drive, thats the only disappointment in the Evo, it's a very easy car to drive and gives people a fall sense of security. I would much rather try to counter steer a rwd car than breaking all 4 tires loose in a slide...

Jasil,

You ever thought about a NSX? I have driven a boosted 04 NSX and wow that car was sick....

Just curious of your thoughts on the NSX

Yes, I was NSX addicted for awhile. Road in and drove a Comptech SC 400whp out of Baton Rouge it was gorgeous. In all honesty they look extremely dated to me. It's a icon in the car world, but much like the 993 Porsche, the newer offerings offer so much more in the terms of a total package. Probably the best driving position of any car I've ridden in though.

WOW Jonh!! Congrats man..I know having that car in your garage puts a big smile in your face. The first night I picked my car from the dealer I stayed in my garage observing the car from many angles, just like you described it the appeal sets this car aparts when you are rolling on the roads or simply parked in a parking lot among other taller cars..

This car distinctive flare fenders, superlow ride, wide body, fat tires and scoops gets a lot of attention, the sound of the engine also reveals that the LS7 means business.

Unfortunately I missed the huge disccount window but you got a smoking deal on it. For the last 6-8 months I agressively recommended the Z06 to everyone that was looking for a Evo replacement, $61000 for a supercar fully loaded can not be argued! By the way, you have the 2LZ package plus Nav and plus the competition gray rims right?, I think we have the same exact package.

Pull that exhaust fuse and hear the difference, it also adds a few HP and TQ(dyno proven). Well, welcome to the club Jonh and congrats again.

pssssss tint the windows.

Enjoy it man!!!
