Use your money as a down payment, and finance the rest for an 2004 SRT-4. You payment would be next to nothing and you would have a car nearly as quik as an EVO.

I think the biggest question is: what do you want from your car? Power? Handling? Comfort? Towing capacity? Gas mileage? Safety? Insurance rate?

PS: can I rear end you too? J/K!!

haha very funny. :-) ....yeah i got rear ended. And hey....i am not a hater...but when you car has over 200,000 miles on it, the catylitic converter is shot, and the fuel injector is bad, well you have to start weighing your options. Plus....if you had insurance money coming...you would do the same...i think...:-) thanks for your help....you guys rock!!~Bethany

You haven't answered my real question though... What do you want out of your replacement car?

And oh, about that glue question in your signature...

I have no idea about pizza vs ambulance though... Where I come from, pizza takes about 45 min and I don't think an ambulance takes that long... Wouldn't know, never needed one.

That is not enough money to run an import. your best bet is an old 5.0 mustang if you want something fast. No import will run fast for that money.

Don't bet on that... With enough knowledge you can make a 510 FLY for $9000. Heck, $9000 is enough to make an EG6 very much trackable already too... But I agree with you, when it comes to 1/4 mile racing, nothing beats the 5.0 in terms of bang-for-the-buck.

With that money, 9k, you could get a MR2 turbo. Those can hang.

Get a 1st gen GSX or TSi AWD for about 3 or 4, put the other 5k in mods into it, and smoke anything you want.

Stick with honda. They're more reliable. Plus you can learn a lot about cars with a honda.
