Both are fast cars, however, WRX is much much easier to be driven fast by average joe while the ITR are more for the experienced drive to be driven at the same level of the WRX.
It's just like the Lotus Elise...everyone thinks it's fast but not a whole lot of people can take it to its potential...
ok lan i have to ask u did u ever drive a rex because if u did u wouldnt say its easier to drive i used to own three hondas before which is the cousin to acura so there no different cars especially like the civic and integra a very rev happy so there is no problem making it go fast and keeping it in the power band when racing plus the there gear ratio is so much shorter i think it takes way more skill to race and manuever the heavy wrx with skill true it has 4wd but if u hit a corner the wrong way with 4wd its over for u so therefore what im trying to say is driving the Integra is a no brainer why do u think everybody and their momma has them as there first car
I drove the GC-8 Sti V3 in HK and drove like a handful of USDM WRXs owned by my friends (some stock, some mod'd). I test drove the 04 model and that's a noticeable improvement from the 02 model (although I don't know what they've changed).
However, I have relatively less experience with the ITR (drove it only once)...again, you have to realize I speak from my experience to form my conclusion.
On more thing...Keeping the REV for the VTEC on a straight road is one thing while keeping it throughout the whole race track is another thing
