I was into Hondas before the a Evo. The B18C5 in my ITR and the B16 in my hatch are still two of my all-time favorite motors (though I recognize the k20 is better..just looks funny in older endings bays).
you forget I have an NC... although all miata's aren't really capable of making any decent power without boost unless you're willing to spend a fortune...

and my civic has a K24

I had a '12 Civic SI for about 6 months back in 2015. Hated it, never drove it. Was so boring to drive. Sold it and got a truck...lol

A group I know of runs NCs for endurance races. They say all they need are wheel bearings. Maybe the engines are modified and they didn't mention that part. They beat the crap out of them, though.
K20/24, either way the k-series is super nice. I've already appreciated Honda's efficiency.

I got it thinking it would be a somewhat fun car to zip around in. Reality- more body roll than the F150 I replaced it with, and slower...lmao. Also the stereo sucked...

If I ever buy another compact like that for a daily, it's going to be a GTI. Or maybe the newer SI's are better with the turbo 1.5L..

well they're reliable, although the NC1 (06-08) spins bearings rod bearings sometimes... they just don't make much power. I think the record for an NA 2.0 is like 213whp and thats with cams that idle at 1700 rpm. The 2.5's can make 190-200 without resorting to race only parts.

Front wheel bearings from an RX-8 is a bolt on upgrade which my car has, but the rears require changing a ton of parts...

it does have a sh*t ton of body roll... can't argue with that... it also has a pretty ridiculous pogo stick effect when carrying speed over any sort of bumps...

They leave the engines stock. For them it's about making the 25hrs, not so much going fast. I'd use a Honda, but they prefer RWD lol. Plus, I think Miatas may be cheaper ,these days.

I drive like a grandma, but not surprised. I'd assume my car has no sway bars.

Nice! I was able to talk my GF into getting one of these or a CTR. As soon as we graduate and start back to work full time. Shooting for Aug of '19. She's deciding between blue and the grey. If CTR it will be CW, of course.

Not to far off. I am sure either will be a ton of fun. I am hoping to finally build the evo soon.

2001 Dodge Carven with 170,000 miles on it. The body is falling apart do to the damn rust but engine and drivetrain is solid. No back seats so it acts like a truck bed but even better in closed lol

Very hot car lol

2018 VW Golf Alltrack SEL
AWD, turbo 1.8L
Lots of room

Of course, I tuned it on E30 and it's making 50whp/75wtq more than stock.
