If you're going to be driving it year round then the Evo for sure. New York winters suck but the Evo makes driving in them much much better.

Thanks everyone for the advice, I owned a 09 Ralliart but it got totalled by a drunk driver so my first choice was an Evo but I saw a used ISF for the same price so was a little torn (even if it doesnt handle great you have to admit its a amazing looking car)

I'm going Evo SE mainly because of the track time/winters in Siberiacuse, will post up pics when i get it later this week

Congrats on your choice!

I'm curious... why did you get an SE and not an MR? Is it just a cost thing?

Since you were considering the Lexus... I figured you'd enjoy the extra refinement of the MR trims.

Well, the dealership can't "locate" any 2010 MRs and they're not getting a new one for awhile, and basically theres only 2 dealerships around here for 150 miles. I don't really care about the luxury all I really want is the SST and the FAST key (although the SE doesnt have that) plus i got the SE for exactly 36K out the door, which is a pretty sweet deal

I owned an IS350 and a friend of mine own a blue ISF. We traded for a coupe of days before.. I did not like it! It was to "slow", both power and shifting. In track the car was all over the place.. gosh! I moved to socal and traded my IS350 to 08MR. I never regret it.

It sounds like you were convinced you were going the route of the Evo SE before you even made the post. Considering winters can be harsh, I think it's a good choice. Enjoy!

Given the two choices, I'd buy the Lexus.

Looks like you have found reasons to get evo over the ISF, "xxxxx nice" is not good enough, when it snows in upstate you'll wish you bought an evo, not only you can get around but you can have fun in snow too!! with an ISF you just gonna have to leave it at home

I've actually been considering selling my X for an IS-F. My wife doesn't like to drive stick much these days, and doesn't get to enjoy the evo as much as I do. The IS-F is a good compromise, plus its much more classy (if that matters to you). You can't go wrong either way. Good luck!
