Just went and drove my SVTF. Holy cow what a difference after not driving it for ~4 months. Totally different beast. Felt too close to the wheel. Too upright in the seat. And no tinted window. WTF, people can see me?

Looking forward to being back in the comforts of the Mustang (and my tinted windows).

 

9500 mile update - rocking 26mpg on street driving with almost no freeway right now. First oil change will be today.

i have been contemplating between a new 2011 v6 or gt and thanks to all your threads i am getting a black on black 2011 v6 MCA edition with the performance package. im picking it up in texas and then driving it back to chicago. and i am too excited to drive it.

 

Well, if you are driving up through Oklahoma City...I'd love to see it.

We are about 4-5 miles off I-35 if you are coming up north out of Dallas on the return trip.

 

Car sounds great smike.

 

The v6 they put in this car is a little bit of a disappointment in my eyes...cause FORD should/could of put the Eco Boost v6 in there like the new F150......and you still would have good MPG and some nasty TQ out of the box......None the less im glad ford is finally stepping up!

Fords had the turbo Falcon in Australia that I've always wanted here in the States. But this v6 is close enough TTC or SC really might be in the cars future
