I know 2 people with new BMWs.
1 has a 135 with intake exhaust & Vishnu tune don't know what stage. Very fast very claustrophobic.
2nd in a z4 35 with 6 speed manual, juicebox stage 3.
No other mods, again very fast, this one has a little more room for the driver being a 2 seater.
Both have plans to dump the car the minute the warranty is up. Even though tech they both are tuned so they could get snagged by BMW. That says alot right there.
When I was having headers done on my last car, they screwed up the steering angle sensor, the steering knuckle, clock spring & speedometer cable.
I didn't pay for any of thoose parts but the shop took 2omths to fix.
Cost me $900 in car payments plus insurance while it sat.
Plus no discount on the header install.
Had the same deal. My car was under warranty and I drove the loaner 325i for 2 months +/- a few days. All to find out the valves needed cleaning. Direct injection motors have a hell of a time keeping the valves clean.

They changed all my injectors under warranty on the 335i, and also had to do valve cleaning.

My car was the test subject on valve cleaning. They never encountered the problem before. The suits from BMW NA had to fly out and inspect the car them selves because they replaced almost 20,000 worth of parts trying to fix my misfire issue. In the end... a camera looking at the valves showed the problem followed by walnut blasting car runs perfect now and no stumbling idle. But one of my new turbochargers leaks oil. It's a lose / lose.

I still have crazy problems with the door handles sticking so the door won't close (prob just needs some wd) and when my passengers or kid close the doors in the back too hard the regulators break and the window slowly falls into the door.

On the outside they look nice, but the amount of problems is crazy.

That is crazy, they should of just bought the car back or lemon law. I like my current f30 but can't wait to get out of it.

I know, i should have filed a lemon report. It seems to be good now. I want to do a single setup but the tuning behind the DME is so complicated that only a few have been able to accomplish it and they are still not running 100%
