Buying a New American Muscle... Still Undecided
Since business had been good, I need to reward myself with a new car. GTR and Evo remains but my garage needs something new.
I had fallen in love once again with the American brands after they started bringing back the "classic" look of the old muscle cars. So I am debating between 3 cars:
Shelby Cobra GT500
Dodge Challenger SRT8
Chevy Camaro ZL1
For the owners of those cars mentioned above, your inputs would be of great help.

I drove the corvette grand sport, not bad for an american muscle. of the choices you posted, it is really up to your taste and either one of them is a good buy. personally, I'll take the challenger.

for me it would be a tough choice between the cobra and camaro since the motors are far superior in stock form to the srt. i think the cobra looks better. have you considered ctsv instead of zl1?

Nah. I want those cars that carry the classic American muscle car design of the 60s. Huge, long, not so much aerodynamic but a really scary looking monster in the road.

For some reason, the Z06 in the Philippines is more expensive than the GT500, even more than the Challenger. But I rode a friend's Z06 and it was one hell of a car. It beat Euro exotics in our street races.
I am glad Ford brought back the classic design of the Mustangs. The ones prior were fugly when they tried to change the whole design. Nothing beats the "classic" modern look when it comes to these wonderful American muscles!

I had always loved that classic look of the 60s muscle cars, especially their engine notes! I am glad these companies brought back the designs they had started with, and retained that muscle heritage. I hope they continue this.
I saw a Challenger also in Manila and I was star strucked by it. Classic and modern look combined in one car.
If only I can buy three, I would. But I can only pick one.

Z06 is terribly fast, but terribly priced too here in Manila. More expensive than the GT500, but nevertheless, if it was within my budget, I would go for the C6 Z06. Well, my heart is still crying for a ZR1!

For me the choice is easy I'll take the one on the right

I'd pick the GT500 or ZL1; both have superchargers, which means it will make stupid power very easily.
Plus the Challenger's performance is sub-par compared to those two. The Challenger SRT8 is more comparable to the SS, and 5.0.
