Now that's a big brother! What a gorgeous AMG. Your Evo has a very high class friend to keep it company. Congrats on your new purchase.

SOEuro sorry I missed your question. Appearance wise I ordered new wheels today and once I get more comfortable with the car I will consider power. Since I have the P31 package there isn't a lot I can do outside of longtube headers and supercharger.
You ordered new wheels?! Those wheels look gorgeous already!

Beautiful car man. It is a very nice luxury car that also has a very strong muscle car feel to it. Congrats man!

Beautiful car man!

Like stated, I think a bolt-on Evo will keep up thru the 1/4 mile, but after that this will toast it once you get into the higher speeds. Not to mention it is way more baller of a ride. Congrats.

Yeah he tries to do that.

Just make sure you let it warm up for a long time...

These cars (w/P31) are notorious for being underrated and in fact dyno numbers are a good 30-40 hp higher than the high number you quoted. Not to mention it has 150 more pounds of torque than the EVO. It also weights 3900lbs which is a big difference from 5000lbs.

This isn't my first time driving a C63 and it will have it's way with any EVO unless it has a turbo upgrade. A stage 2 EVO stock turbo may be close in quarter mile but above that it's toast. Anyway thanks for the comments I love the car so far.
I dunno, ive run dead even with one of these exact cars on the road course at the track and the driver was a veteran SCCA racer...But ive also run dead even with the same guy in his V10 R8 though so who knows haha..im on the stock ix turbo but i am running E85 an he was obviously on pump...VERY sick car though with an amazing setup! AMG is legit!

Great choice in cars... I've test drove a CTS-V and that's also tempting!

Thanks everyone. One thing I didn't mention is the break setup on this thing is massive which is part of the P31 package (will get some pics). I thought the EVO had amazing breaking but the C63 setup is a big improvement. Also the seats are great. The Recaros in the EVO are very good but these are another step up. The side bolsters are huge and there are three electronic settings to hug you as much as you want haha.

Just wanted to say that I'm not trying to take anything away from the EVO. The EVO is a kick *** great car that I will always own. I'm just posting some comparisons between the two vehicles because in the end we are all car guys.

You may be right who knows. One thing is for sure they are both great cars

Run my business out of my home so both cars are toys pretty much. From what I understand rear tires only last 5k-8k with moderate driving!

AMG2 package?
Not sure which you're referring too. I have all the options available minus the carbon fiber interior accents because I wen't with black maple wood.

Great choice in cars... I've test drove a CTS-V and that's also tempting!
CTS-V is very fast, more powerful than the C63 for sure. I just couldn't get over the looks and interior it wasn't for me.

C63 Black Series? If so that thing is a beast I looked into one. Only problem is they are going for 20k+ over MSRP at least right now. Only real drivability advantage they have over the normal C63 is handling, power wise they are pretty close.

I was between the CLK63 Black Series, GTR and CTS-V. Don't care for how the CTS-V looked so that was easy to cross out. GTR is a monster but it lacks refinement, comfort and four doors. If you want a combination between luxury and power C63 was the obvious choice for me.

As far as sound goes the stock AMG exhaust is pretty bad ***. It's deep and throaty with some crackling/poping. Kind of hard to explain but there are lot's of videos on Youtube.

Awesome car! Classy... For a long time I wanted an E55 AMG, but I never pulled the trigger on it. My first choice in luxury cars are always Audi's. I just love the AWD If I was to go German again now I'd probably do a Stasis S4. None the less beautiful car! One of these days I'll justify 2-3 cars for myself and get back to German luxury.
