Haha true EVO is a sausage magnet.
Believe it or not the stock exhaust sounds similar just a tad quieter.
As a couple people stated M3's are a dime a dozen. Also the M3 lacks the torque and needs high RPM to stay in the power band. With the C63 the torque is instant which is what I was looking for. Interior is much nicer on the C63 in my opinion as well.
On paper the M3 is the winner. Real world driving and fun factor the C63 wins on almost every automotive review.
Yes I'm sure the EVO would be faster around a track it feels like it handles better than the C63 which is why I kept it 
You're correct the base price on the C63 is 58.2k but you will never find one at that price. The options on this car are very expensive. For example on mine this is a few:
P31 + 6,050
LSD + 2,030
Leather Package + 3,350
Entertainment Package + 3,350
Lighting Package + 985
Keyless Go + 1,140
Heated Seats + 750
Review Camera + 460
Gas guzzler tax of 2,100
Add tax on that and you're over 80k. Nothing on this car comes standard everything you would want is an option which sucks but it's stuff I had to have. Your guess about my business was trying to poke fun at me but you're actually right it's finance related

Why the benz over the m3? To me the m3 would have been the more desirable one. If i remember corectly it beats the c amg in every single test. Nice car nevertheless.

Why didn't I think 63 :| That what i wanted before I fell in love with the Evo. BUt yea it is BEASTY car. The Evo I BELIEVE (not sure) can out do a 63 around the track? As far as turn and curvy roads go.

I've been recently eyeballing a 2008 Audi RS4 as well. Quite a bit cheaper at $35K used with 20,000 miles but I've been toying with the idea of a nice cruiser for the commute instead of the Escape.
I still need to have an Evo though for the real fun. Not much left in it for mods when the RS4 makes 100hp/liter naturally aspirated. That's where the Evo comes in.

When money is an issue it's always hard to make a choice between performance or luxury. You sir, seem to not have that problem and it looks like you have the best of both worlds in one car! Congrats man. The new car looks great. Hopefully one day I will be ballin out of control like you and can afford to get something like that Mercedes alongside my evo. Thanks for the inspiration!

Gotta love online car forums. Guy buys a new badass car and half the posts are saying he should have bought something else.
It's not like owners of C63 AMGs don't know that M3s or GTRs exist. They just made a different choice then you would have. Just say congrats to the guy and move on, lol
