EVO's New Big Brother
C63 def a nice car. Awesome daily driver! I've had several of the 63 cars from the cls to the sls. There's actually allot of stuff you can do. Look up mhp! Or just get a weistech charger. First mod to do should be the following, resanator delete. Do not my any means get another exhaust! Keep the amg tuned exhaust! And open your factory air boxes and put k&n filters and you'll notice that there is another filter on the underside of the top of the intake box. Delete that filter. You'll def notice the difference! Just remeber to mind your manners and know your place in the food chain when you see a gtr though! Lol! Have fun! No e63! Wait another year and the 5.5 8 tt engine will be in the c-class!

I already ordered a set of dry filters and plan on doing the charcoal delete when they get here. I would like to do headers but I don't plan on keeping this to long so I'm not sure. OE has a handheld tuner similar to the Accessport now but I don't know if it's worth it since I have the PP.
I was considering the TT in the C but it's a couple years away and I like the size of the E class but who knows. Sounds like you have had a nice line up of 63's

I'm familiar with the Agency Power headers and valvetronic exhaust. I almost bought the set but the headers are so damn loud. Not that it's a bad thing but my EVO is loud (to me) so I'm not sure I want to take this car in that direction.
How about you PM me with a price anyway maybe that will change my mind haha.

Definitely not the evos "big bro"
Beautiful car and congrats on it, but....
That is a luxury touring car that weighs close to 5,000lbs. The hp and tq numbers are very deceiving as well. First, u said it has 481hp. That is to the crank and not the wheel so realistically you are looking at around 380-400, which are still great numbers, but it's more so just to get that heavy *** beast moving and not for speed. From the numbers I've seen online of that car it runs an extremely respectable 12.4 1/4. So it's almost identical to an x, so u can for get the "crushing"
Other that that, congrats man. Awesome car

By the way, the C63s were tested recently at 12.1@120 mph by the car magazines. It was also the fastest and quickest production sedan car when launched in 2008.Also, for the record, the M156 powerplant is the worlds most powerful N/A engine in the planet, the lighest on its category as well.
This car tested 3.9 sec and a 12.3@117 when they first tested in 2008. The 2012 with the new transmission and launch control do 12.1@120mph.

Smoothevo,
Congrats on your C63 AMG. I just traded my C63 AMG in April and picked a new STI. I had my C63 AMG for 3 years, before the C63 AMG I had a new C6 Z06 that I traded in for the C63. I also had the Evo IX SE at the same time that I had my C63 AMG.
Your car is very nice. I just sold my MHP S2 VCT 3 package(590hp) from modern horse power. I was pulling 14 mph higher trap speeds than my friends modded E-90 M-3. These engines are underated, in fact they are detune from the 525hp M156 platform, thortle bodies open partially until you do a tune.
The reason why is because Mercedes didn't want E class owners feel bad when a C class 63 AMG beat them so they detune the engine for marketing purposes. Porsche does the same thing with the 911 and the Boxsters. The boxsters could have the same engine as the 911 but then they wouldn't sell 911s.
I recommend you do a tune and long tube headers. People are running low11s at mid 120 with the tune, Long tube headers and air filters and sometimes DR.
I am on MBworld, you can look me up(C63NEWDUDE).

Congrats on the car... Seen the same model run at the track completely stock with summer tires + a tune... Nasty 11.7 @ 123...nearly close to my FP black evo 8 which ran it's best at 11.6 @ 123.

It's bad when you just get a new car and you're already making plans for another one haha.
