I'm horrible, want a GT-R

I've been driving Evos for the past 9.5 years. I am at a point that I really want a GT-R. I feel like a horrible person and a traitor. I'm working on refinancing two of my homes, selling one and paying off a couple of minor debts and saving a $20k down payment so I can buy a used GT-R. I figure, I'll reward myself after I clean up my balance sheet a little bit. I think I have about 6 months before I leave the Evo scene for good. I'd have one by now, but my wanted kids.

Has anyone noticed that an 09 GT-R used sells for damn close to what they went for NEW!?

Best car I've ever owned! Hands down! A week and a half ago was the first and only time I ran the gtr at the strip. It was a phone call, hey let's go to Cecil at 4:30pm and I left to go at 4:45 pm strait from work. I was literally on the phone with my buddy sam in line installing lc5 and the relearn. Lol! I would love to see other cars with advan sport tires or equivalent , with no seat time at the strip drive 2 hours to the strip in 90+deg weather 2500ft da with an extra 300lbs in the car and run a 10sec pass first try! With only exhaust and a tune! No air out the tires, nothing! Just as I drive the car everyday, rain , sleet or snow. Just sayin!! lol!

Exhaust and tune only. 93oct stock intakes and stock injectors. Boost 17-18 psi. I was stock about 1.5-2 months ago.

Pass on the GTR IMO. I was at the track recently & there were at least 5 with 1 fairly modified with aero, wheels, exhaust, etc & they all, repeat ALL were practically standing still compared to this guy is his Porsche 997 3.8 RS on factory tires (who I also got to ride along with).

Sad to say it as I'm not a Porsche guy myself, but that car ate everything on the track that day.

Let me know if you want to get rid of your evo. Care to post pics? I might give you a reasonable offer?

Fred, you have been reading my mind. I would sell Megatron in a heart beat for a down payment and then drive the minivan until I can find a GT-R. I have just been a little concerned as I am an old school shifter kind of guy. I think it would be difficult to find one I can practice on.

I love that signature block, my friend. . I was supposed to be at Fort Hood right now for TDY but another mission came up and I am now in California for a few weeks. I am thinking about starting a For Sale thread just to see (tease myself) with how much would be offered for my EVO.

I'll give you my standard 20 bucks plus paypal. I'm sure if Fred has GTR on the mind he will have one soon.

I see your $20 and will raise you another $19,980 to seal the deal, my friend.

I sent Wendy an email asking what she thinks.
