I'm horrible, want a GT-R
i think a gtr is nice to have/ drive, but no consider it as racecar, unless of course you have a lot of money sitting around to dish out for repairs / maintenance. Cause we all know those things aint cheap to fix
if you can afford it, do it, def not something you'd regret

Pass on the GTR IMO. I was at the track recently & there were at least 5 with 1 fairly modified with aero, wheels, exhaust, etc & they all, repeat ALL were practically standing still compared to this guy is his Porsche 997 3.8 RS on factory tires (who I also got to ride along with).
Sad to say it as I'm not a Porsche guy myself, but that car ate everything on the track that day.

Allot of people have no idea what there are talking about. Until you sit behind the wheel of a gtr and full out rip it yourself, please don't comment. A manual transmission is played out! You will never shift close to what the gtr shifts. 997 gt3 and gt2's will be eaten for dinner on a track by a gtr. Don't even think the car drives itself either. Turn vdc off and things get wild! And the guy that said they don't hold there value! Lmao! Price new on a 2009 sticker price that is was 69k! Here 4 years later and it's right there at the same price! The gtr is an all around super car! 3rd fastest production car! Modded, it's the only thing that can hang with ugr twin turbo gallardos. 60-130 times modded they are beasts! What other super car can you drive all year round in any weather?
I'd take a porsche any day over a gtr, because every time you pull up somewhere trying to look sick, theres gonna be that one girl thats asks if thats the new sentra lol.
The GTR didnt look so hot when C/D put it up against the 911turbo s..

Unless, of course, a car is purchased by someone who actually enjoys the act of driving.
As for a GTR, so not interested it's not even funny. No desire to have one. There's nothing about the car that attracts me: too big, too heavy. Don't like the seating position and don't like the greenhouse. Couldn't care less about numbers, and without them what's there? A very fast GT. Not what I'm after. YMMV

actually the gtr is more exotic looking than a p car by far. People trade there gallardos in for gtr's and p cars. I had plenty of exotics and fast cars and the gtr hands down out performs all of them around the board. Check my YouTube channel and you will see my cars, from lambo's , Porsches , bentlys, amg's, bmw's, sls, Ferrari's. Don't be a bench racer going off Internet advertisements.
